Happiness is a clean and organized home
It has been my dream for some time now to start my own business. As many of you know, I received my Bachelor’s of Science degree in Criminal Justice Administration, along with my Crime Scene Certification from the lovely Columbia College. All throughout college, after college, & up until not too long ago, I thought something would just *hit* me one day and I would know what I wanted to do with my degree. Although I absolutely loved getting my degree and wouldn’t trade it for anything, that magical epiphany unfortunately never happened for me. Long story short, post-graduation I had plans to go full time at my current part time job at the Sheriff’s Department, and those plans never panned out for me.
I took this hit kind of hard, wondering what the heck I am doing with my life, 2 years post-graduation, still working 2-3 part time jobs at any given point in time. After giving it some serious thought and talking to some of my dear friends and family, I realized that what I really have been looking for all along is something that allows me the flexibility of owning my own business. The only thing holding me back was my hesitation to jump into something totally new and start from scratch.
I started ‘dipping my toe in the water’ with my wreath business, Circle of the Season by J. I loved the idea of making money off of doing something I loved doing at home in my spare time, and not having it feel like “work”. Everyone’s end goal is to ultimately find their niche and get paid to do something that they love. So although I will continue to make wreaths in my spare time, I did not see that going forward as a full time job for myself.
SO, I present to you, Fresh Solutions by J! I have always had a passion for, and a real knack for organizing-even as a kid. My mom used to pay me to organize kitchen cabinets growing up, I de-clutter Bryan and I’s home for fun in my spare time, and unorganized spaces make me cringe. So if you currently have a space in your home (or many spaces in your home), that every time you see them you just want to run away from frustration of not being able to find anything, I’m your girl! Shoot me a message on Facebook, send me an email, or text/call me. I am so excited to begin this journey, and I can’t wait to help some of you all out!
P.S. Shout out to my dear friend and mentor, Deborah Barker of B Unique – Simplified Living for all of help, advice, and words of encouragement during this whole process!
